Job Description

As Operations Manager for TeleScope OnDemand (TSoD), you will be responsible for the daily operation, maintenance, and new customer deployment for North Plains’ market-leading digital asset management (DAM) SaaS offering. Since TSoD is a managed services offering, SLA management and customer satisfaction will be your ultimate concern.

The TSoD Operations manager role requires broad knowledge of datacenters, SaaS offerings, cloud-based computing, operating systems, hardware, networking, creative workflow production tools, storage & backup, and databases. A candidate should be capable of trouble shooting problems and providing solutions to issues in a complex IT environment.

Essential Job Functions
• Oversee daily operations for TeleScope OnDemand
• Ensure compliance with customer SLAs
• Plan for and manage regular maintenance updates / upgrades
• Measure and assess daily system performance
• Support and implement new customers
• Install and configure North Plains software
• Provide functional and technical training on North Plains software
• Troubleshoot issues
• Document installations and configurations of new implementations
• Consistently delight customers by meeting or exceeding expectations
• Manage Client expectations
Skills

Requirements
• I.T. professional with a minimum of 10 years experience (5 years of management) managing Information Systems in a combination of consulting and systems implementation roles
• Deep understanding of SaaS deployment models (HA, multi-tenancy, cloud computing, storage & backup)
• Demonstrated technical skills with relational databases
• Proficient with Windows, Mac, Solaris and Linux environments
• Adept with Apache and IIS
• Knowledgeable about network infrastructures and protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTP, IIOP, ODBC and JDBC
• Strong analytical skills with ability to trouble shoot and identify issues
• Self-motivated and able to work with limited supervision
• Toronot candidates preferred (US otherwise)
